Number the Stars
- Below you will find the websites that your group may use to research your topic. Each person in your group should research one of your four websites so that you split up the work. If you have less than four people in your group, split up the last the website between the group members.
- The questions that you must answer for each website are listed right below the link to the website. You must take notes on the answers to these questions in the "Notes" section of your spiral.
- After your research is done and you have taken notes and answered all of your questions, get your notes checked by me, Mr. T You must get your notes approved by me before you begin working on your PowerPoint slides.
- After your notes have been approved, you may then start creating the pages for your information for your group's PowerPoint Presentation. You are ONLY to use plain, white slides at this point. Do not add any formatting or backgrounds yet. Just simply type your information the way you want it to appear on the slides. Be sure to include non-fiction text features in your presentation.
- After each group member has created his/her slides, use a thumb drive to put all of the slides together, or you can use the shared drive and place it under my folder. (Copy and paste the slides into ONE PowerPoint presentation.) Have it checked by…that’s RIGHT! ME, Mr.T.
- Then, and ONLY then, you may format the slides, add pictures, and make it presentable.
- Save your final PowerPoint Presentation to the SHARED DRIVE. Name it your group number (ie.,Group 1)
- Each student is responsible for presenting his/her slides to the class during the group presentation.(*****Everyone must speak*****)
